1) Lead .NET Application Architect

Responsibilities:

The Lead .NET Application Architect will set technical direction for solutions developed by the team, in order to meet functional and nonfunctional requirements of the UE&V user base.

Other responsibilities include:

" Working with software vendors on CLIENT's behalf to design effective integration for the UE&V application to the software products delivered by those vendors.

" Work with other application architects within the Java and SOA space to align the framework architectures for consistent patterns and services, such as security and logging.

" Defining and designing the enterprise level patterns and objects that comprise the custom .NET framework, which is at the core of the UE&V application.

" Mentoring the developers on UE&V team, as well as other developers client may identify, in the discipline of .NET development.

" Executing continuous improvement of team development practices, such as continuous integration and code reviews.

Skills:

" 8+ years development experience in .NET

" Strong experience with .NET C#, WPF, WCF, and XAML

" Experience defining architecture for production .NET applications

" Strong understanding of architectural concepts and design patterns

" Strong understanding of development performance issues and mitigation approaches

" Strong understanding of concurrency programming, threading issues and mitigation approaches

" Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS and SQL

" Strong understanding of Spring.NET IoC, AOP, Dependency Injection

" Strong understanding of Persistence Frameworks including NHibernate and iBatis.NET

" Experience implementing multithreaded .Net applications

" Experience implementing or familiarity with Oracle AQ Events

" Experience implementing or understanding of MVP patterns, especially MVVM

" Experience implementing a Pub/Sub messaging pattern, especially Mass Transit

" Experience implementing or understanding of DTOs

" Experience using nUnit or other unit testing framework

" Familiarity with Subversion, and continuous integration tools including TeamCity

" Understanding of SOA, serviceoriented concepts and web services (SOAP based and RESTful)

" Experience operating with teams using the Agile SCRUM process

" Committed to test driven or behavior driven development

" Experience leading development teams

" Interpersonal/Communication skills that allow the candidate to interact with developers as well as senior management

" Experience in the energy industry preferred

 


2) Lead .NET Developer

The Lead .NET Developer will lead a team of developers to develop solutions aligned with the technical direction of the Architect, in order to meet functional and non-functional requirements of the UE&V user base.

Other responsibilities include:

" Working with software vendors on client's behalf to implement effective integration for the UE&V application to the software products delivered by those vendors.

" Working with other development teams at client to implement effective integration for other applications with the UE&V application.

" Implementing and refining the enterprise level patterns and objects that comprise the custom .NET framework, which is at the core of the UE&V application.

" Mentoring the developers on UE&V team, as well as other developers CLIENT may identify, in the discipline of .NET development.

" Executing continuous improvement of team development practices, such as continuous integration and code reviews.

Skills:

The Senior .NET Developer will participate on a team of developers to develop solutions aligned with the technical direction of the Architect, in order to meet functional and nonfunctional requirements of the UE&V user base.

Other responsibilities include:

" Working with software vendors on clients behalf to implement effective integration for the UE&V application to the software products delivered by those vendors.

" Working with other development teams at client to implement effective integration for other applications with the UE&V application.

" Implementing and refining the enterprise level patterns and objects that comprise the custom .NET framework, which is at the core of the UE&V application.

" Contributing to the continuous improvement of team development practices, such as continuous integration and code reviews.

Skills:

" 5+ years development experience in .NET

" Experience with .NET C#, WPF, WCF, and XAML

" Experience defining architecture for production .NET applications

" Understanding of architectural concepts and design patterns

" Understanding of development performance issues and mitigation approaches

" Understanding of concurrency programming, threading issues and mitigation approaches
